TESTIMONIES

In Perfect Peace Ministries ("IPPM"):
Christian Pen Pals Mentoring Prisoners ONE on ONE

Sure, we humans fall short, and nobody has delivered that "bulls-eye" performance that our Holy God requires.  And yet, amazingly, Jesus Christ SEES something of value in us - He sees what we are BECOMING.  Jesus came and RESCUED us.  (How is it that He would cast our sins into the deepest part of the sea? And raise us up? Micah 7:19 Psalm 145:14)  Just think of it - Jesus PURCHASED us for Himself, paying the ULTIMATE price - we are Christ's!  And Jesus continues INVESTING in us - for we are His workmanship. He's PREPARING each of us for that unique "work" He has for us to do.   Christian - if you are serving Christ, you are functioning "as designed" - and you are experiencing the "abundant life" Jesus promised.  :o)  Jesus has called many in prison to draw near, to "know" Him, and to serve Him - and others.

In Perfect Peace Ministries, as part of "Team Jesus", is in the "people business."   As Christ's ambassadors, we invest in people - our time, energy, and resources - to uplift, refresh, and disciple Jesus' people living in tough prison settings.  We "deliver" God's words - and draw back and watch JESUS work!   What a thrill that is!  Jesus never ceases to "blow our minds" as He raises people up, as He transforms hearts, minds, and lives!   (Jesus - We stand in AWE of Your life-transforming power!)   The point?  Everyone who "crosses paths" with Jesus Christ has an THRILLING STORY to tell!  Our hearts are ON FIRE, we can't hold it in, we have to tell the world - we have a testimony!  [JW]

18 As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon possessed begged to go with him. 19 But Jesus said, “No, go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.” 20 So the man started off to visit the Ten Towns of that region and began to proclaim the great things Jesus had done for him; and everyone was AMAZED at what he told them." Mark 5 NLT
